Aripiprazole comes in tablet form. It should be taken with a full glass of water. Take one tablet at the same time every day. If your doctor has prescribed you an antipsychotic medication to treat your schizophrenia, the dose will be increased slowly. You will take the medicine at the same time every day. Take it with food or milk, and do not take it more than once a day. The dosage will depend on the severity of your symptoms and the individual's response to the medicine.
You should not drink alcohol while taking Aripiprazole.
If you miss a dose of Aripiprazole, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
